Tonight for FHE we carved pumpkins. I must here state that it was Katherine's turn to do the "lesson" so carving pumpkins was her idea. I take no credit for it. Andrew and Katherine each designed their own face, but Tyler actually did all the grunt work. It's just as well, I suppose - Katherine just got her cast off. It would be a pity for her to turn around and cut her hand off! While Tyler and the "kids" (Lida doesn't count as a kid yet, she's still the Baby) massacred the pumpkins, Lida and I made cinnamon sauce for our dessert.
Andrew was in charge of dessert this week. He chose Bread Pudding (for recipe go to Sisters Sharing Recipes). I made it once before - just to see how it tasted - and he loved it. So, this time he chose it. He (more or less) made it himself and I must say it was quite tasty.

What did Katherine do to her arm? You guys are much braver than I am. I have yet to buy pumpkins as I am fairly anti-pumpkin carving.

hooray for Katherine getting her cast off. We are planning on doing pumpkins tonight. I like the idea of Tyler doing all the carving....I wonder if I could convince William I needed him to carve mine...
I love the picture of Tyler!! Those poor pumpkins don't stand a chance!
