Something Borrowed, Something Blue...

I don't know which is more daunting, preparing for a trip or recovering from it? We spent last weekend in Colorado celebrating Tyler's brother's wedding. The wedding took place in Michigan, so we didn't witness the actual ceremony, but the reception in Denver was very nice. It suddenly occured to me as I was helping to clean up after the celebration that I have been part of Tyler's family for 9 years! I guess it is time I stopped thinking of them as "Tyler's family" and started thinking of them as "our family." They ceratainly merit the acceptation, but it has been difficult getting to know them when we live so far away. I did enjoy visiting with my sisters-in-law, however, and decided that Amber is right. I do need to keep in touch better. So, despite my reservations about "not being ready" I've decided it is time to go public (so to speak) with this blog and let my family in on it.

Tyler and Lida with the bride and groom.

Andrew and Katherine with a couple of their cousins.

Amber is so right! We do need to do a better job with keeping in touch! I have been "blog stalking" and came across yours. Now you can see ours as well.
