Anyone who knows me will know what kind of week I've had when I say that I practically lived at the store this week. Ugh!! Ever since I had Lida I have had a hard time getting back on top of things. I sure this is normal, but it is also frustrating! At the end of every month I put together a menu for the next month, then I type up shopping list with everything I need for the meals as well as food storage, dog/cat food, etc. It is a process that takes about 4 hours from start to finish. Then I have another 3 hours of shopping to do! I hate shopping...Besides I never have more than a couple of hours in which to do anything - Lida seems to think she should get to eat. I don't know who put such a preposterous idea into her head...
So, between exercise at the church in the mornings and shopping after lunch, I've been gone from home 3 (nearly) full days this week! And I get to go back this afternoon with Katherine so she can pick out a present for a birthday party. The fun never ends.
On a happier note Thanksgiving is coming! I'm very excited. I don't know why exactly - maybe it is all the great food - but Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Our Thankful Wall is filling up and I found that after my rather frustrating day yesterday, I really had to think hard for something I was thankful for that wasn't already up there. How sad is that? So today I'm thankful for fuzzy slippers. Tyler bought me some warm, fuzzy new slippers for our anniversary last month and my feet have been toasty warm ever since. Which is more than I can say for poor Lida's arms. It has been chilly lately and she doesn't have very many long sleeved shirts. I guess I need to get back to the store and buy her a couple of sweaters...

It could be worse Rachel, be grateful you live close to the store. You could have to drive like Grandma Staples.
Hope you have a good day.
It's so sad that you don't like to shop. Send Catherine to me, I would love to take her shopping for a birthday present and we will pick up some sweaters for Lida while were out. Hope you get to stay at home next week!
It just occurred to me that I spelt Katherines name wrong. So So SO sorry about that.
I don't like shopping very much either. Don't worry. I especially dread going with my children. Last time I took all of them to the grocery store, Eric and Noel kept running off. At one time, Noel ended up in the next isle screaming for me (I think she was just lost). Needles to say, I left without getting everything.
I like Thanksgiving too by the way.
No wonder we get along so well when you are here.
