For our family vacation this year we went to Teton National Park. We were only there for the weekend, but it was fun! We spent the night in a campground by the Gross Ventre river. The kids helped to set up camp, and thene we roasted hot dogs for lunch. Andrew started the fire (Rachel coordinated setting it up) and was very proud of his accomplishment. We had foil dinners for dinner, followed by s'mores.
Lida did very well camping, except for the sleeping part. She woke up about 12:30 in a strange place surrounded by strange sounds and didn't like it much. However, once we got her back to sleep, she slept through the rest of the night. Her favorite part was eating! And she also had a lot of fun riding on my back on our hike.

On Saturday we hiked around Jenny Lake to Inspiration Point. It was a beautiful hike! Jenny Lake is a natural lake right at the foot of the Tetons.
The lookout was about 1000 feet above the lake, so it gave quite a view! When we were finished we rode the ferry boat back across the lake and had lunch. It was a great time!

it looks like you had a fun family vacation, you have a very cute and happy family.
I think those are the best vacations, where family is together and there are no distractions. It looked so pretty up there. See you soon for more camping.
Beautiful pictures! It sounds like a nice vacation.
