Spring Fever
The sun is shining today (for Idaho Falls, that's a big deal) and it has actually been fairly warm (meaning low 40's) - at least warm enough for the Spring Cleaning bug to give me a nibble. Consequently, I spent a good part of the day getting rid of clutter - old magazines, cassette tapes (we don't even have a tape player any more!), and odds and ends that I've been holding on to "just in case." I'm not going to hold onto them any more! We even got rid of our old car, Winston. Tyler and I took him to a salvage yard this afternoon. Katherine was a little distressed when she realized that we were going to leave him there forever. I admit I was a little sad too. Winston was a good little car - our first as a family. Tyler took the opportunity to organize the garage a little before moving Clarence in. No more scraping windows for us!! All in all a nice, productive day. Best of all, I don't have to cook dinner, because the menu says we're having leftovers. Ah, life is good.
